Unfortunately, accidents occur all the time at school, and it is important to ensure that you and your loved ones are protected, should the unexpected occur. At Insurance Specialists, Inc., we offer insurance policies that are available to all enrolled students, faculty, and administration staff at participating schools. The coverage can be purchased by a parent or guardian of the student or faculty and administrative staff Members who have interest in program enrollment.

The two school-approved insurance plans that we offer include*:
School time accident coverage, which covers the hours and days while school is in session and school-sponsored and supervised activities either on or off school premises. Some examples of covered activities are travel to and from school, class trips, and religious services.
- Full-time 24-hour accident coverage, which includes insurance coverage around the clock at any activity, regardless of location, and summer, weekend, and vacation periods.
When Does Coverage Begin & End?
If coverage is purchased, it will be effective as soon as the premium is received by the school administrator or the effective date of the policy, whichever comes earlier. It will expire at 12:01 a.m. of the first day of the next school year or anniversary of the policy, whichever comes earlier. When affiliation with the participating school ends, so does insurance coverage.

Jane Corbett, my sister, has been corresponding with, per my authorization. She mentioned to me that you had e-mailed her regarding the cancellation of the $25,000 Policy # MET-2-1543 and $29,000 Policy # MET-2-387 or to just let them lapse. Since the replacement policy of $100,000 is now in place as I received the MetLife Certificate Confirmation Statement along with my Certificateholder Benefit Plan, I am authorizing the cancellation of the two above mentioned policies.
